Angel Sweezea is a Michigan-based glass artist whose journey began with a serendipitous encounter: she walked into a store adorned with giant glass flowers on the wall and was instantly captivated. Though the seed was planted early, it wasn’t until 2012 that she fully stepped into the world of glass. Born in Michigan and having lived in New Hampshire and Virginia before returning to her home state, Angel’s work is deeply inspired by the natural world — especially flowers and the beach. She strives to capture the delicate balance of fragility and movement in her pieces, transforming glass into elegant, organic forms that feel alive.
